Service Description

This course covers the history and therapeutic foundations of Champi, detailed anatomy review of the head, neck, and shoulder region, a full step-by-step treatment sequence (typically 30–45 minutes), contraindications and client screening considerations, draping and positioning for seated work, and practical strategies for integrating Indian Head Massage into an existing clinic or mobile practice. Led by a practicing RMT with clinical experience applying these techniques in a multi-disciplinary setting, the course bridges traditional Ayurvedic methods with evidence-informed Western massage principles — giving participants a framework they can confidently apply within their regulated scope of practice. Upon completion, participants will be equipped to offer Indian Head Massage as a standalone service or as an add-on to existing treatments — a low-overhead, high-demand offering that appeals to clients dealing with stress, headaches, and desk-related tension.
